A fresh fougère held together by lavender, lifted with bergamot and litsea cubeba, rose and apple at the heart. The base trades oakmoss for evernyl, beside sandalwood and tonka bean.

OlfIA

Aromatic at 90 over woods at 74: the lavandin holds the line and the sweetness, at 58, stays behind it — which is why this passes at a desk where a richer fougère would sit heavy. Projection 7 against longevity 6: it opens loud, then drops. Two or three sprays do the job, no more in a car or a meeting room, and count on a top-up mid-afternoon. Spring through autumn, everyday wear to dinner. Firmly masculine at 88/100, yet the base never turns heavy enough to date it.
