Terms of Service

An account carries a subscription status, either free or "Pro". Some features that use your wardrobe to advise you are reserved for the Pro status. The Pro plan is paid for and taken out online, as a recurring subscription, monthly or yearly. The price shown on the offer page is the one charged to you, taxes included. The subscription can be cancelled at any time from the subscription page: cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, which remains due — we never cut off access you have paid for. That rule covers ordinary cancellation; the first fourteen days fall under the right of withdrawal described below, which is more favourable to you. Payments are handled by Stripe, Inc.; none of our pages collects banking details.

MyOlfy is a perfume discovery platform: descriptive pages, member reviews, editorial rankings and a mini-game. Browsing is free; some features (reviews, votes, the game) require an account.

You have fourteen days to withdraw from your subscription, without giving any reason and without penalty. That period runs from the day you subscribed. We apply this right to everyone, whatever your country of residence.

To exercise it, send us an unambiguous statement at contact@myolfy.com, from the e-mail address of your account. No particular form is required; this wording is enough: “I hereby give notice of my withdrawal from the MyOlfy Pro subscription contract entered into on [date of subscription].” It is enough that your message is sent before the fourteen days are up.

We refund all sums paid at the latest fourteen days after receiving your decision, using the same means of payment as the one used when subscribing, and at no cost to you. We keep nothing for the days of access already used: at no point do we ask you to waive this right in order for your access to start immediately, so it starts immediately and your refund stays whole. Pro access ends at the moment of withdrawal.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activity carried out under your account. The username you choose is public: put nothing in it you would not want displayed.

The right to publish reviews opens up progressively with account activity — a safeguard against abuse, not a punishment.

By publishing a review you grant us the right to display it on the site, in both languages (an automatic translation may be offered, with the original always accessible). You remain free to edit or delete your reviews at any time.

The following are prohibited: unlawful, defamatory or hateful content, harassment, disguised advertising, and rating manipulation (fake or coordinated reviews). We reserve the right to remove content that breaches these rules and, in cases of repeated abuse, to close the account.

Pages, descriptions, editorial scores and illustrations are provided for information only, with no guarantee of accuracy or completeness. Compositions and attributions may contain errors — please report them. Longevity and projection scores are estimates, adjusted by member votes.

The brands and perfume names cited belong to their respective owners; their mention is purely descriptive.

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and cannot be held responsible for purchasing decisions made on the basis of the site's information.

These terms may evolve with the service. The date at the top of the page indicates the last revision; continuing to use the site after a revision constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by Swiss law.
