Carry the bottle if the day runs long: four hours of wear, a sillage to match, and by mid-afternoon there is little left. That restraint turns into an advantage in a shared office and in real heat, where the green fig reading stays legible without crowding anyone. Nothing here is gendered; it can be shared.
Un Jardin en Méditerranée
EDT · 2003
Perfumer · Jean-Claude Ellena
Not rated yet — be the firstThe first of the Hermès Jardins, written by Jean-Claude Ellena around a single fig tree: the bitter green leaf, the milky sap, the wood. Bergamot and orange blossom light the opening, juniper and oleander supply a dry bitterness, and cedar with musk close it without adding weight. The transparency is deliberate — the formula runs on few materials and aims for neither volume nor staying power.
