One spray covers a whole night, and two will be noticed in a heated room: longevity and projection both sit near the top of the scale. Incense leads ahead of the rose, which points this at autumn and winter evenings rather than a working day. Nothing about it reads as gendered.

Coriander and citrus flare at the opening, then give way to a heart where rose and frankincense hold equal ground, over a base of myrrh, labdanum, cedarwood and ambergris. It shares the recognisable amber signature of the same perfumer's L'Air du Désert Marocain, but keeps it behind the flower: where that one is dry, spicy and mineral, this one is floral and church-like.
