Daytime wear rather than dressed-up evenings: office, casual outings, a date. Longevity 7, sillage 6 — two sprays are plenty, it carries without filling the room. Rose dominates at 88 ahead of woods at 70 and is what people will name; grapefruit lasts only the opening, amberwood carries the end of the day. Spring, summer and autumn alike, reads mostly masculine at 70 without ruling out unisex wear.
L'Homme À la rose
EDP · 2020
Perfumer · Francis Kurkdjian
Not rated yet — be the firstThe same flower rewritten for men: damask and centifolia rose, this time opened with a bitter citrus and set on a woody-amber base. The rose is not hidden behind the wood — it stays in the foreground — but its fruity, powdery side is stripped away. The development stays tight around that single contrast, drier than the feminine version.
