Nectarine Blossom & Honey

Very ripe stone fruit, nearly syrupy at the opening, kept off candy by a streak of blackcurrant. Honey settles in at the end without weighing things down.

Honey at 74 beneath a fruity accord at 88 is what makes the difference: it thickens the peach and plum rather than sweetening them further, and the vetiver base keeps it from turning sticky. At 5 for wear time against 5 for projection, it stays a cologne rather than an evening gourmand. Set at 20, it is distinctly feminine. Warmth opens it without weighing it down.
