Flora by Gucci was released in 2009. Its official note list is short and unstaged: citrus, peony, rose, osmanthus, pink pepper, sandalwood and patchouli — the citrus is never specified, so no named material stands in for it here. It reads as a pale, transparent floral with no heavy material in it. The Flora line went on to produce a dozen flankers, each a distinct fragrance.

Longevity 5, projection 4: light by design, not by shortcoming. Four or five sprays are justified here, with a midday top-up if you want to keep it. Floral at 88 led by peony, spring and summer, office included. Very feminine at 8/100. The osmanthus at the heart brings the apricot that keeps the rose from turning soapy.
