Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme was released in 2008. Its official note list is short: bergamot, cypress, violet, tobacco, jasmine, patchouli, amber and elemi. Cypress and elemi give it a resinous woody character that tobacco and amber thicken as it dries down. It should not be confused with Gucci Pour Homme, released in 2003, which is a different composition.

Woody at 84 and tobacco at 76: an end-of-day profile, which the elemi in the base pulls toward resin rather than sweetness. Two sprays, projection 6, longevity 7. Autumn and winter, evenings and dressed occasions — the office works too, provided you stop at two sprays. Clearly masculine at 82/100. Not to be confused with the 2003 Pour Homme, which is an entirely different perfume.
