Vetiver pulled away from its usual green austerity and set against chestnut cream. Myrrh thickens the middle, so the earthy, rooty side of the vetiver reads sweet and faintly waxy rather than sharp. Beeswax and vanilla close it out, and it stays close to the skin after the first hour — more a texture than a statement.

OlfIA

Desk-friendly, which is unusual for a vetiver this dense: projection stays contained while the wear runs into the evening. One morning application therefore lasts the day with nothing to top up. Autumn and winter suit it best; chestnut and beeswax do little for a hot day.
