Violet leaf and leather over an almost petrol-like note. Disconcerting on release, now cult — nothing else smells like it, even today.

The hard part is the opening: violet leaf and nutmeg go against the grain, and it only holds together once leather and tonka bean have settled in — judging it on first contact is unfair. Eight hours of wear, wide trail, one spray does it. Distinctly masculine as it reads, better in the evening and in cool weather.
