French Avenue is a brand of the Emirati manufacturer Fragrance World, presented as an entry-luxury line with what it calls niche compositions. The group dates it to 2014 on its own site; French Avenue's own "Our Journey" timeline writes 2012 for the same launch, so both figures are first-hand. Fragrance World goes back to 1988, when its founder, Mr. Poland Moosa Haji, opened a trading company in Dubai, Al Ghuroob, before forming Fragrance World Trading in 2003 to deal in perfume alone. By 2023 the group reported more than 500 products across three brands and a presence in over 125 countries; French Avenue's offices are in Deira, Dubai.
